Loren Cordain is a member of the faculty of the Department of Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University.  During the past two decades he has researched the effects of diet on human health and specifically examined links between modern diets and disease.  He is the author of numerous scientific articles examining the link between diet and health, and has published three popular books, The Paleo Diet, The Paleo Diet for Athletes, and The Dietary Cure for Acne.
