Split Drop
With a barbell racked on the back as it would be for a back squat and the feet in the pulling position, take in air and set the torso tightly. As quickly as possible, transition the feet into the split position, making sure to drop the hips straight down and keep the torso upright. Recover as you would from a jerk, by bringing the front foot back about a third of the split distance, and then the back foot up to meet it. |
