What's the best thiking on accomodations down there? Is there decent camping to be had? I have people in Long Beach but that's a long run at the end of day.

i'm told there's decent camping around although i can't tell you firsthand.

This place is about a 20 min drive from the clinic facility:

Are the dates September 29-30, or October 6-7 as on the web page?

I know that San Onofre, San Elijo and Carlsbad campgrounds are all reasonably close and that way you get to be right on the beach.

I just wanted to thank you for the past weekend’s Coaching the O Lifts! It was great to have the opportunity to talk and listen to you and the other presenters (Aimee, Beau, Robb W. and Nicki) who know what Olympic lifting is all about. I thought you did an outstanding job explaining the O lifts and how to take the client from the basic power position to the full lifts. I’m looking forward to the instructional DVD!

For those who didn’t attend I strongly recommend it! In particular the question and answer exchanges were by far the most entertaining part of the seminars. Greg calls it like it is in a practical informative (and often humorous) style.

Other than getting to meet the one and only Coach Burgener, some of the other highlights for me were:
Foam rolling techniques
Specific stretching techniques
DROM (very detailed explanation)
Olympic Squat (alignment, weight distribution)
Burgener Warm-up
Bailing out
The clean
The jerk

If you get the opportunity to attend I’m sure you will have fun learning from the pros and meeting a lot of great people.
Thanks again,

Angela (the one Coach B. nicknamed “Cross Country”)

Angela -

Great to meet you this weekend; glad you and Katie were able to make it down.

Here's you in an excellent hang position! Come back down any time and we'll turn you into a lifter.
