What sort of dose should someone look at (g/day) ?

haven't taken it in years...but if memory serves me correct the combination of glucosamine and chrodotion was like 3g a day....with it almost being a equal split between the 2.....so my guess is something like 1.5g/day of glucosamine alone....
I used to take it for sore knees....but since I cut out a ton of sugar and grains...I don't have that issue anymore.....

Thanks Mike. I have an AC joint issues, that doesn't want to go away and thought i would give it a try.

I believe the researched doses are something like 1500mg glucosamine and 1200mg chondroitin. Adding MSM is a bonus factor.
If you try it for 3 months and do not notice any change, quit. Definitely give it the three months though.
I always suggest ditching the nightshades first and foremost for joint pain...joint inflammation (especially more than one site) is a sign that inflammation is going on elsewhere in places that don't have the capacity to send pain signals (like internal organs)...
