Wow, I thought I had heard it all.

Why don't we all go plant a tree to make up for our "exercising" ways...

“If you walked instead, it would use about 180 calories. You’d need about 100g of beef to replace those calories,

So...Ummmm....a person walking...burns 180 calories....needs...lets see 100gx4=400 calories of protein...well assuming it is no fat beef....and therefore has an excess of 220 calories.....I mean this is only one of the amazing illogical parts to that story......but I am going to print it out, go get a Hummer and drive around showing every jogger how they are killing the environment...

there you have it, guys. we've been wrong ALL ALONG! what were we thinking.

we should all stay home and never leave. that way, we'd use up even less resources! also, if you weigh over 200lbs, you should be eliminated. you're too much of a strain on our planet's resources.

So, let me make sure I understand this. They crunched a bunch of unmeasurable and inherently uncertain numbers, then combined that result with some vague and unjustifiable assumptions to get the conclusions they wanted.

This happens all the time in the softer sciences.
