Did anyone happen to capture what the WOD is today? I cannot seem to surf to the site, perhaps JW is performing a DOS.

actually I did some push presses today 5x5 style....I'll hit the bar tonight and finish up by pushing some jerks for 5x5......might throw in a 400 meter sprint too if they all start to push back....

When I saw this on xfit I was curious about the progression. I think this is a progressive overload and I understand that as you go P, PP to PJ you can lift more weight. If I was doing this on my own I would have gone the other way with it being press X 5, PP X 3 and PJ X 1. Working my way up on the weight as much as possible.

Any significant benefits either way?

Derek-
I think the thing about the progression as written is that one is repping weights with the higher power output that are impossible with lower reps but the lower power movements. Almost more an illustrative point than a WO, but certainly still valuable.

Your progression sounds fun also. If would be interesting to see what total tonnage could be moved with the same number of total reps one approach vs the other.

I have seen the video that has one of the studs doing that exact progression and it was pretty interesting. He didn't change weight throughout the video just kept going with reps and switched lifts.

Once I can press again I will do that WOD a week apart to test the total tonnages.
