should i eat the yolks or not? or in like a certain ratio?

i honestly don't care. i prefer eating just the whites personally, but that preference is so minimal i often just eat the yolks anyway from being too lazy to separate. however i was curious if there was a health benefit either way.

also, is there anything wrong with eating eggs everyday? i'm a terrible cook when it comes to meat, but i look forward to breakfast because bacon and eggs (and accompanying vegetables and sometimes fruit obviously) tastes infinitely better than whatever i try to pass off for other meals.

Buy Omega 3 Organic and eat the yolk. Lots of good stuff in it. Reg eggs have too many Omega 6s as they are grain fed, at least the omega 3 eggs have a better balance (but it doesnt replace fish oil by any means)

If you were only going to eat one "part" of the egg, the yolk should be it.

The best way to cook eggs is any way where the yolk is not broken.

ok.. check on the omega3 eggs. so, if i'm looking to not break the yolk i guess scrambled or omelettes is not the way to go? how do you personally cook your eggs, garrett?

also, is there anything wrong with eating eggs everyday?

I do sunny side up and keep the yolks pretty runny.

Over easy/medium/hard, poached, soft/hard boiled all work as well for that approach.

Note the major concern is not applying direct heat to the yolk contents.

I still have scrambled eggs once in a while (I find they don't sit well and cause gas). Heck, I even made a turkey bacon/egg/onion/spinach "casserole-quiche" last weekend.

If you're going to have eggs often, I suggest not directly cooking the yolk. Only do that once in a while. Remember that O-3s are sensitive to light, heat, and air--puncturing the yolk for cooking drastically increases the exposure to all three.

Balancing food prep with time is always an issue for me. So, I do the best I can under the circumstances. Therefore I eat 'em poached, fried, scrambled, omellette style, hard boiled, even microwaved at times. Methods might not be the best I figure its an ok trade-off that won't hurt me much.
