I just learned of this stuff yesterday, and it looks awesome. I'm betting that one of the culinary geniuses at the Performance Menu can come up with a recipe for a pure paleo version.

That's very a very different ingredient list than the last "powerful butter" I had...

ANYTHING besides peanuts. Peanuts are bad for you....mmmmmkay.....

Sub out:
Almonds for the peanuts
Whole eggs for the egg whites (or at least include some yolks, maybe not all of them)
No wheat germ
Sea salt for the table salt

Pretty easy subs, IMO.

Indeed, the substitutions are easy. I'm wondering about 1) the proportions and 2) the emulsification.

Without having tried a recipe, I wish I could help with the proportion issue.

As for the emulsification, I would think it would be a good thing--the mixture would stay mixed as opposed to separating, and the fat-soluble nutrients would become even more bioavailable. Definitely would have to keep it cold, though.
