That's extremely interesting especially cause we know a crapload about insulin and what it does in the body. So this basically probably supports that any type of insulin regulation like with Zone diet is probably extremely good for longevity I'm guessing as opposed to something like insulin spiking pig-out obesity diets and such.

I wonder what would happen if they eliminated IRS-1 and then put mice on a calorically restricted diet (which is correlated with longevity too).
