Garrett--
In your recent article in Performance Menu, you explain how peppers can inhibit healing and exacerbate joint pain. You focus on lab studies in presenting your conclusions. I was left to wonder whether those cultures that rely heavily on peppers in their cuisine (Mexico and India would be two, I believe) have higher incidences of inflammation that those cultures that use peppers less.
Is there any evidence along these lines?
Thanx.
