Has anyone attended this? I am thinking about going to the one in Milwaukee in April.

I'm registered for one in Pullman in February. I just got the course materials (book and VHS) and only the "power" variants of the lifts are featured in said materials, although I wonder if maybe more is taught at the actual course. Also their is no instruction for the jerk, only the push press and push jerk. They cover a lot on medicine ball and plyometric stuff as well.
Am I the only one who misses the logic behind requiring that you coach someone before you can attend a certification to to be a (club) coach? Any insight into why they did this?
None the less, I'm sure I'll learn a lot at the sports performance course.

Is there a link for the course? I'm all about learning and the more exposure I would have to OLy lifting, the more I think it would make sense to me.
All the best,
Arden

thanks so much. What does one of these courses run? I'm a little inept at navigating sites.

it's around $350 not including travel, lodging etc. It's more if it's in Colorado Springs at the Olympic center.

It looks like it runs $335 for the Sports Performance Coach course. Unless you're lucky enough to go to the one at the Olympic Training center, which looks to run $435.
