Whenever i buy vitamin E, or alpha lipoiic acid or some herbals in capsule form, the cap start to go soft after a few weeks. The label says store in a cool dry place, i dont see an issue with using the fridge though.

Im also throwing out some vitamin c caps, whenever supps change colour, i figure they are oxidized to an extent, and not worth consuming.

I keep all my supps in the freezer. Which leads me to a question...is freezing probiotics a bad idea?

The fridge would be a good cool & dry place.

The fridge would be good for probiotics, the freezer may or may not be a bit much.
