Rarely is there anything worthwhile on TV but I have been seeing ads for this and finally saw an episode on Brain power...it is excellent and am very curious to see the one on strength. Puts things in the way of primal urges and such (why we crave certain things....or the episode of the brain that showed that). Even had a short blurb on calorie restriction and why the brain and muscles work better in a fasted/starving mode.

Looks like a run tommorow night on all 4 as well. Its on the Discovery Channel.

PS. It's on tonite right now as well. (Sun 10pm EST)

Thanks for passing this on Mike. Definately plan to check it out. Might have to fight for the remote for this one.

Make pretend you are a caveman fighting for your share of meat!

Last night's episodes were very interesting and well done (brain and sensation). I like the part about the guy stuck in a life raft and eating fish meat (protein only), but then his body knew he needed more vitamins for survival so his cravings changed into wanting to eat the eyes, liver, skin and all the organs instead. Thank god our brains are smarter than us!
