Selling things online?

Laurie has made some bracelets that have to do with Chiari and wants to now sell them online, in an effort to help with the medical bills and to raise awareness of the condition.

Here is my question, what is the best way to sell online?
The options I've seen so far are:
-ebay
-ebay store
-Yahoo! Store
-Running your own web server and having Paypal do the merchant stuff.

Am I missing anything? Anyone have any pros/cons to the above?

I am sure there are other ways but that is a great starting point. I think that the easiest and most effective way is the eBay store and Yahoo store.

With the blog she shouldn't have a problem linking out of it into the store.

If you go your own route there are a lot of hosting companies that have plugins for online shopping. I have been looking at several of these options myself and I think the simplest and quickest way is eBay or Yahoo. Ultimately I would like to have something along the lines of the way Greg has it set up here.

If you do something like ebay you will hopefully get more traffic than just have your own store sitting off in the corner of cyberspace. You can always do both but would recommend EBay to get seen.

if you're talking handmade, also look into Etsy.

We decided to go with Etsy because it seemed like the best place for the type of things Laurie is selling.
