Do the carbs in beer replenish glycogen just as the carbs in fruit or veggies do? I mean is a carb,is a carb, is a carb?

Only if you mix the beer with hard alcohol and drink while training.

It depends on your level of adrenal fatigue and whether you drink it with a probiotic.

I'd say the carbs in beer work just like the carbs in any other grain--in combo with what Dave and John said, of course.

You work for T-nation now? :D
Carbs are carbs in a sense...however liquid carbs are absorbed quicker, could raise insulin, and with additional alcohol will lower testosterone/raise estrogen and lead to a beer belly in excess....
