Okay, I've been a subscriber for several months now. And I ordered all the back issues, because, let's face it, they're outstanding. And then you guys set up this forum with great people, a scientific and humorous vibe, and tons of insightful info. And now this protein debate. This is too much. Seriously, you guys are fantastic, but...

How can I give you more money? I would like to show my appreciation in some way other than a lame email slobbering about how great you are, but it's tough: you're not selling any t-shirts, mugs, hats, sweatshirts, dvd's, books, mouse pads, supplements, posters, etc... I'd love to buy something more, but I can't! Any chance that you'll have anything like that soon?

(I have purchased another year of the PM and will be buying Rut's DB Moves from the NSC site, but still...)

Either way, thanks Robb and Greg, for the tremendous job you guys do.

Jonathan-

First, thank you for the kind words it means a lot. Well, to me it does, Greg is a soul-less bastard who will likely be unphazed by your heartfelt sharing. We are trying a new med for him...

Second, I want to publicly acknowledge the 3rd amigo(a) behind the PM, Nicki Violetti. She literally keeps this opperation (and the Norcal S&C Gym) going. Greg and I are good at fart jokes, Nicki is a get-er-done type of gal...and actually makes the farts. Man, I love that chick.

Third, we have a few other projects on the way. The first one is a Cooking With Scotty Volume One cookbook from that WildMan, Scotyt Hagnas. This is a great thing to get folks who may need some help on the nutritional side but the main publication goes too indepth with training...or, again fart jokes. Keep an eye open for that.

Thank you agian for the kind words...and NEVER, Never pull Nicki's finger.

Rock on Robb! Looking forward to the cookbook. And the PM and all things affiliated with it, including fart jokes, kick ass.

i am not soulless, i just have it in cold storage until a time i feel it can be put to better use. at the moment, it's in my way.

jonathan - just you wait. 2007 will see plenty of great new things for you to spend your money on (such as books, DVDs, possibly some mall glamour shots of robb.). in the meantime, i always accept charitable donations (end of the year... good time for a tax write-off...).

but seriously, thanks. even without a soul, i do appreciate it.

speaking of charitable donations... I do know a certain athlete [who fully supports and represents the performance menu]. uh hum.

and Robb, despite his ever trying desire to appear souless, he is totally not. most of the time. total Fašade.

Can you see Greg in a mirror? See, point made.

This is definately one of the best boards I've ever been a part of. Its quite amazing how much my views on fitness (and life) have evolved since discovering Crossfit, this board and the knowledgable folks behind it all (namely Robb, Greg and the rest of the gang at PM not to mention the members that make this board what it is....Mike, Kevin the list goes on).
Retired from the musclehead juice boards and never looked back. Although I still get a laugh thinking at the time I was following a healthy lifestyle while I consumed a pound of dextrose post-workout, a pound of oats in the am and 500 grams of protein throughout the day (what do you expect I endured hard-core three hour workouts a night!!! hahaha)

So in retrospect, let me thank you guys for building a fantastic board and a great community to encompass it.

Make sure the Books are the "pop up" kind...everyone loves those....as for the Glamour shots, throw in a Free CD of the "Breakfast Club Sountrack" and you may have a best seller!

I want a Performance Menu alarm clock, one of the old-fashioned kinds without the bright red light. I also want Greg to write a stretching book, where I can look up what hurts in a nice little chart and find the corresponding stretch I need to do. Like AIS, only better.

Guys don't hug in public...they tell jokes about the priest that walked into the bar....<<seeing if anyone is looking>>.....ok, one hug can't hurt...
