Hello all. I've been at these OL for about 1.5 months now with no coach (hopefully I'll have one soon). Here's the link to a 135lb c&j. Recently, I have gotten help with my 2nd pull and jerk recovery from a USAW coach, and I think my 2nd pull has improved a little. I'm aiming for bodyweight (75kg) this Saturday at my first meet! All thought appreciated!

Looks good. One, get your shoulders further over the bar at the initial pull and also less dip and wider split on the jerk. JMO.

Yeah, looks pretty solid, I'm no coach, but I hink Bill's comments are on. Forward shoulders, maybe more powerful extension at peak.

I appreciate the inputs - when you say a wider split, do you mean front to back or side to side? Hopefully I'll have more footage soon to post for more comments. Thanks again.

More weight!
Well, looks light, you know? Like a power clean with a ride down. Where's the squat clean?
I think that sometimes you need to add some to the bar to really see what your true form is. Well, for me at least. Not so heavy it's a PR, but something challenging. That clean looked easy.

I know where you're coming from. It's definitely not that heavy if I'm not forced to do a full squat to rack the weights. Nothing takes you to the full front squat like "real weight"! I actually did 75kg yesterday (which is my target 3rd attempt for my first meet this Saturday) with a questionable press-out. That made me squat all the way down. I haven't figured out a place yet to put the camera to get a decent shot of that kind of attempt. Hopefully soon.
