Awesome work, Josh!

2nd place in the CF Games, the only person from last year's top three to improve his position this year.

All of this at age 32 and having never touched the "juice".

Josh did awesome - he was so close to winning too. And he did 2 of the events with the biggest tears on his hands I've ever seen.

I actually thought he was going to win but Jason came out of nowhere so props to him as well. Extremely impressive! Congrats.

Hey Steven were you there?

I was watching the finale and it was freaking close. I think Josh missed a lift in the 25-30 range that cost him the title. Although still an amazing effort with all those tears on his hand.

Nah, I wasn't.. man, that sucks if he did though. Still impressive though to medal at both CF games especially with the increased competition this time around.

Yeah, tears were from the pull-ups - pretty much every competitor shredded their hands.

He really did great. We all were proud and screamed our faces off. Mary (his wife) also kicked major butt even though her hands were torn off too.

He will take it next year... FO SHO!

I completely locked in on Josh's final performance (doing the C&J's) that I just lost sight of the rest of the competitors. His effort and (technique) was amazing. Inspiring to say the least. It was as if watching Jordan in the playoffs witnessing before my eyes the sight of a champion in action "in the zone" grinding out the final reps. Its an image that is imprinted in my head forever. Thanks Josh. I'm really excited about my workout tomorrow.

Amazing effort Josh. Moving up a spot in the standings this year with all of the competitors is simply incredible. Very impressive.
Here's to winning it all next year eh?

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It was a great event. Congrats to jason for his performance in the final... it was amazing.
I made 2 mistakes in the final event... 1. I didn't believe anyone 30+ seconds behind me could beat me 2. after the 20th rep i should have switched from thrusters to jerks... my last 5 reps took an eternity. had i switched i would not have needed to stop.
