June 13, 2007 - Surgery after four dislocations of the left shoulder, starting in Sept 2005.
July 21, 2008 - Dislocation #5 of the left shoulder. @#$@#%#^!#!!!
Looks like my volleyball playing days are done as 2 of my last 3 games have sent me to the ER to get my arm put back in socket. People sure do look at you funny when you walk into the ER shirtless and covered in sand with a deformed shoulder.
Anywho, no more surgery for me. I'll just give up volleyball and stick to skiing, sprinting, and lifting. In other news, the surgery obviously tightened stuff back up...the last two dislo's before surgery left little in the way of pain once the shoulder was reduced. This time it's just like the first time. Yay for me.
Maybe I'll ask the surgeon if he has an 18-month warranty or anything like that.
