well, i have searched for a few days now and can not seem to find all the info i am looking for, as i am the one eye wonder for now, i had eye surgery 8/1. well to start of i am overweight and need to lose weight, but my main concern is not gaining any weight as i will not be able to workout for a few months due to cornea transplant:mad: . i tried to zone but even at 14-16 blocks, i could not eat that much. after reading the posts and the IF blog that Gant has a link to, i realize that IF is kind of similar to the way i eat. i eat when i am hungry only, my wife gives me hell, saying that it will slow my metabolism, but i am miserable if i eat when i am not hungry.
i work nights: fri, sat, sun, mon, so my days flip flop, but my body is used to it and my hunger is on time day or night. 90% of the time i eat at 11am and 5pm (when on day schedule) and 5pm and 11pm (when on the night schedule).
so to give you a break and sum everything up, i need help with what size of meals are to be eaten during the feeding window.
my intake: no coke, or candy ever. very rarely drink, and when i do it is either tequila or vodka with limes in both. i eat too many tortillas and pasta, and my weakness is cookies (can control it as i don't buy them unless the kids go to the store with me), eat out only once a week and no fast food
i have not gained any weight since a weight gain of 60#'s in 2003, and i also do not lose weight either, hovering around 240. i don't know if i am eating too much, or if my metabolism is slowing by the way i eat. all i know is that i can not eat many meals a day except maybe once or twice a week. anyhow any help would be greatly appreciated.
