Could this be good for all us traditional beer drinkers trying to avoid grains also?

Isn't sorghum a grain?

Yes sorghum is a grain but unlike wheat it doesn't contain (or contains very little) Gluten, and therefore wont induce worse case scenario Ciliac occurances. Like lethal body encompassing swelling! I don't believe Gluten is the only alergenic compound in grains therefore I think its just best to avoid them.

Geeze I should follow my own advice.........

I have sorghum growing in my garden, and it is very sweet. The birds love the seedheads, and the stalk tastes like candy. Think sugar cane. I'm not sure it's any better than wheat. Using it for beer isn't a new thing, the Tarahumara used it to ferment their tasgino (corn beer.)

Course, it's still Budweiser.... My urine is gluten-free too and it probably tastes about as good as Bud/Bud Light/Bud Select.

I really just went there.

The biscuit brought this home for me to try. Pretty good but not as good as GUINNESS.

.......but not as good as GUINNESS.

Amen to that. What us Irish call "mother's milk" I'll suffer and take a shot of fish oil after every Guinness.....nay, I'll just take the Guinness.

Is there anywhere you can buy those Guiness ad posters I find in bars sometimes? I want the one with the wheelbarrow.

"My goodness, my Guiness."

Best domestic beer (US) is still Shiner Bock. I believe it's made with grains.
OK, I know it is. I've been to the brewery.

Awesome tour.

Isn't sorghum technically a grass?
