I'm still bending my arms prematurely and donkey kicking a bit. The kick has gotten a lot better than what it used to be but i still do it every time the bar has about 3/4+ my body weight on it. Can't seem to shake the habit.
Any other suggestions or comments anyone?

For some reason it got a lot darker when i uploaded it. The quality is also significantly diminished but that's what you get with webshots.

Is there any reason in particular you stay at the bottom of the squat for so long? Also, your position seems to shift forward a little just as you start the first pull.

I'm staying at the bottom stabilizing the load. I don't feel like i'm down there excessively considering it's a snatch.

The arm bend and the feet aren't bad - overall, that's a great snatch. The one thing that stands out is that when you pull under, that bar swings forward. Really emphasize turning the elbows out to the sides during the first and second pull, and keeping them out during the 3rd. Nice work.

Is this a good example for how the timing of the scoop should look?
I was originally taught at my usaw certs (which I wouldn't suggest to anyone who reads this), that you should immediately "explode" as the bar passes the knees. Clearly in this video, he waits a little bit longer, until mid-thigh, gets his torso slightly more upright, and then powerfully extends. And hey, it looks like a pretty good snatch!

I'm going to say yes but only because it makes me look better.

At the knees is too early - you do want to wait to mid-thigh. The key is an upright posture, however - you see people trying to take off right above the knee because they're leaning too far over and they have to extend the hips to maintain balance. The best I've seen is Stefan Botev - see if you can find some video of him snatching (or get the IronMind DVD Challenge in China.)
