ive read alot about this subject from brilliant people. But could anyone tell me what kind of fat you should use as fuel and why?

Saturated fat: many people say this is the bad fat, but there are also people saying this is the best fat you can get and your diet should consist of mostly saturated fat.

Mono fat found in olive oil etc.

poly fat found in nuts.

im also wondering about the difference from saturated animal fat and saturated plant fat. Is this the case with plant poly and mono fat also?

like is the poly fat from nuts different from the poly fat from animal flesh or eggs?
the same goes for mono fat. is the mono fat from olive oil and pork fat the same?

When it comes to protein.

I was just wondering, as Ori Hofmekler(Warrior Diet) talks about. When it comes to protein from animals he says that we havent developed the enzymes do digest the animal protein? and he seems like he knows what hes talking about. But many people say that plant protein are the bad guy.

Have you ever considered that fact that you way over think the subject at hand?

Consider reading " Don't Sweat the Small Stuff, It's All Small Stuff"

If you have been reading about Fat, then you know that other then Trans Fat, M / P/ S fats are all good. Some eat more of one then the other, but that might work for them, not for you.

Here is an idea, eat Zone, Paleo, IF, what ever, do the CA WOD or CF WOD or variation there of, report back in 6 months, 12 would even be better.

In the end, It's All Small Stuff............................

great link, but it didnt explain what was the healthy one and wich one was the best for fuel etc. :)

Fat is 9 calories per gram, eat all kinds, as your body uses all kinds for different things.

Eat, work hard, be happy.

If what you're trying to figure out is which fat to use to fuel a workout, MCT (medium chain triglycerides) is great for energy. It's a fat, but unlike other fats does not need to be metabolized by the liver so it is readily available for fuel. Coconut milk and coconut oil are good sources. I like 1 tbsp of coconut oil in the morning or 1/2 hour before a workout. If you do coffee then coffee+coconut milk will give you a good buzz.

not only a workout but in generel for the best health :) thats what im looking for. The source that get you as healthy as you can be.

You need all types of natural fat to be healthy my friend to create a good balance. There isn't one you should be eating more of, they need to be in balance and you need them all.

I'd say:
- Get Healthy Sat Fats from Healthy Sources
- Enjoy your MUFAs
- Keep PUFAs to essentials and smaller % of total fats, and don't overdo it (more unstable) unless you want to take more antioxidants to counteract it

In the end, probably not going to matter as much for "fuel" but the wrong kinds of fats (more unstable and damaged ones, like trans fats) create less healthy cells and unhealthy cells leads to an unhealthy body over time.

Also you need Sat fats for other things like hormones.....so all in all....proper hormones and healthy cells = greater ability to burn fat....so in that sense the types of fats can effect your performance output as you are the sum of all parts.
