Background: I've been low-carbing for awhile with mixed results but around September this year, decided to get over my fat phobia once and for all and just upped the fat to a point where, I am now regularly getting 60-70% of calories from fat. I mostly eat eggs, fish, coconut, peanut butter and avocado and gorge on fatty meats whenever I go out. I train with weights 3 days a week (low-reps, compound movements, 20 minutes per session) and practice yoga 3 days a week, 2 hours per session. I also walk my dog every day for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, I'm mostly sedentary. Since, September I've lost 10 pounds, look leaner, clothes fit better etc.
Now here's the thing: I've been dabbling with IF for a few months as well but never go longer than 14-16 hours. Last week I effortlessly passed the 24 hour mark (unplanned, with only water) and was astounded. So, yes, I love my new attitude towards food. That said, I now have to force myself to eat! My logs indicate that I'm barely getting 1000 calories on fasting days and around 1500 on the other days. I'm 28, female, 5 feet 6 inches and 132 pounds at the moment. I don't think I need to drop any more weight but am not averse to losing some bodyfat. Most online daily calorie estimates tell me I'm not eating enough.
The question: should I let my hunger guide me and just "go with the flow" or force myself to eat more? I prefer the first option because I have some history of bingeing and overeating so the idea of force-feeding myself is a bit uncomfortable. Also, my energy levels are fine, zero cravings and I sleep like a log every night. Advice?
