Fascinating stuff -- thanks for the posting. One thing doesn't make sense. They say Eskimos had mean TC of 220, astonishingly low triglycerides and LDL and HDL values similar to western populations. That can't be, by the definition of how TC is calculated. If TG is lower, one of LDL or HDL must be higher (most likely HDL).
