Does anybody have experience with or thoughts on full spectrum lights? I'm not trying to treat any condition other than mid-afternoon office fatigue.

mid-afternoon office fatigue.

Join the 99% of everyone out there in the working world.....I would first ask:
- how much coffee you drinking?
- are you getting plenty of sleep?
- are you stressed at work?
- do you work for hours without any breaks?
- what's your eating schedule and how much food are you eating at lunch?

- how much coffee you drinking?
None, nor any other caffeine or stimulants. Also no alcohol.

- are you getting plenty of sleep?
Not consistently, I have problems getting to and staying asleep. That's a subject for another post, though.

- are you stressed at work?
It's not bad. I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 10.

- do you work for hours without any breaks?
That depends on what you mean by breaks. Unless I'm in a meeting, I get to up refill my water and/or go to the bathroom about every thirty minutes. If you mean long breaks, then I take none (and work 10 - 12 hour days).

- what's your eating schedule and how much food are you eating at lunch?

Paleo, low carb, IF (sorta). My window is noon - 10:00 PM. If I eat breakfast the fatigue is much, much worse, so skipping has helped. I'm trying to put on a little weight right now so pretty much every meal is meat with extra fat from nuts or oil. Some meals have greens; some don't.

a documentary on British TV about sleep etc said it is normal to feel sleepy in mid afternoon, for some reason that I cannot remember.
