Most of it is a very clear presentation of exercise physiology and adaptations, very interesting point about body builders & strength, and mentions.... medicine. Which then ends the lecture, lol. Obviously a controversial person, but a very good perspective to grasp in training athletes, such as why keeping training simple and near maximal.

Read the whole thing... pretty good.
I found this part to be particularly interesting
In many situations, you don’t know what your maximum weight is, I mean you think that something is your maximum weight is and it isn’t, because the athlete can be wrong about his maximum achieving state. We can use pulse rate to discover the maximum weight. If the athlete has a pulse of less than 180, it means that he can do more.
I may have to try it out.

when it comes to physiology... he is self taught. which probably helped him think outside the box. but also probably has allowed him to hold some fallacies dear to his heart...
I had dinner with him a few months ago, and during the conversation, he asserted that glycogen replacement was proof a muscle was fully ready to train again...

Yeah, I did notice a few things that were... off. His analogies were fairly good though I thought.
