I'm interested in figuring out if there is a good way to optimally "prime the stomach" for a big whopping protein+fat meal.. I'm talking about tackling a dinner with like 1+lb meat, 100+g fat..
For me I've noticed that sometimes these types of meals (I don't have that much meat at every dinner) go down better than others. Can't remember where I heard this but I think it was some doctor interviewed on jimmy moore's show who said if your cortisol is high you won't digest a big pro+fat meal very well. If that is correct than maybe it is best a good idea to be as relaxed as possible before dinner (supplement sometimes necessary)?
Also, there's not much info to go on but some have claimed taking some ACV beforehand can stimulate HCl.. would it be worth considering taking ACV + some sort of cortisol reducing supplement before a big dinner for optimal digestion?
