View Full Version : Subs. for 5/3/1/ ?

Hi all. I am going out of town tomorrow night and I won't have access to a gym at all (very small town). During this time I will miss the following workouts (I am doing Wendler's 5/3/1/):

Deadlift
Hanging Leg Raises

Military Press
Pull Ups

Squats
Leg Curls

Is there anything I can do to sub. these workouts? The leg raises aren't to much of a worry, same with the pull ups (playground there with a bar). However I'm not sure about the others .

Depending on which week it is I would probably swap out a rest week. Those are hard to sub the main exercises. You could always just do BW assistance stuff if you didn't want to make it a rest week. Handstand pushups, handstand holds for the press stuff like that.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I will also (hopefully) be jogging once, interval running 2 times, and doing Crossfit (from the bodyweight workout list) 2-3 times while there.

I just hope I can shake being sick before I go. I have already missded two days of workouts. Would hate to miss any more.
