Greetings.
I've been CrossFitting seriously for about 2 years and just finished 2 cycles of CFSB. I have been contemplating doing something more Oly focused for a little while and as luck would have it, a buddy from Brand X mentioned that he was going to hit up the 10week cycle that was posted here, starting April 13th. I decided to join him.

I had the benefit of attending an affiliate for nearly a year -- from the first (or second) week they were open until the last. (CrossFit Emerald Coast) Unfortunately my Oly technique still needs some serious work. I've got Greg Everetts book and I'll refer to it too, but when I post vid here I'd love to hear any feedback from yall.

I post at BX and I maintain a blog (http://crossfitjtm.blogspot.com) with my wods too. I don't post on the mainsite.

anyway, glad to be aboard.

My first CA wod was yesterday -

Week 1, Day 1 - (April 13)
•Snatch - 70% x 2 x 3, 95#
•Snatch pull - 90% (of snatch) x 3 x 3, 105#
•Snatch deadlift - 90% (of snatch) x 3 x 3 105#
•Front squat - 75% x 3 x 5 (195#)
•Weighted GHD sit-ups - 3 x 8 (subbed AbMat situps with 10# plate)

Skill work:
stands on the parallettes.. I tried to press it up several times, but no dice.

note to readers:
I don't have a 1RM for the snatch, yet. For whatever reason, I've shyed away from ME snatch wods and instead done "technique work" those days. I hit a 115# snatch last week during "skill work" after a wod, so for now, I'm using that as my 1RM

Day 2 (April 14th wod)

WU:
500m row
1 x CFWU - 10 reps.
burgener WU x 2

ME:
•Muscle snatch + 2 snatch balance - 65,95,105,115F snatch (technique?)
•Overhead squat - 80% x 1 (165#): 2x2 (135#)
•Power clean + push jerk: 1x4 (135#)

Metcon:
3RFT
10 power clean and jerk (135#)
20 pullups
