Long time reader, occasional poster, regular lurker.

I am working on exhausting my linear strength progression. I've elected to use the high bar back squat in doing so. However I am concerned that my squats might be high. We took video on Weds though, so I thought this would be a good chance to get some feedback. I have good coaches in the gym with me, but second opinions are always appreciated. I aim to compete in more Oly meets next year, so I am aiming for an appropriate squat movement pattern.

Thanks! (and happy thanksgiving)

1. Not enough depth.. you can tell by the white lines on your pants not making it to parallel.

2. Knees look to be caving in ever so slightly. Can't be sure though.

3. May need to sit back (for high bar at least) a little bit more if weight ain't on your heels.

Not too shabby.

Like Steven said, not deep enough. Unless you have a good reason (i.e. butt wink) you should be striving to go deeper. Check out that squat video that Greg released a few months ago. Some good info in there, he talks about using your hip flexors to pull yourself into the hole.
