Hey Guys and Gals;

I have a female client that just started paleo this week. she is on day 3 of no dairy, gluten, sugars. She has been doing very well. pretty strict.

She is report a massive amount of bloating. I some might be normal. but she is really complaining about it in a major way. she states that its a lot and really bothering her.

In day one she consumed a little more sodium that expected, in some of her cooking, but in day 2 and 3 she has cut that out. any other thoughts or does this sound normal?

I'd suspect the change in dietary fiber. How much fruit/veg did she eat prior to paleo, versus now?

Most people first fuck up with shitloads of dried fruit and nuts, in my experience.

Especially the nuts (and seeds).

Eating a ton of fiber/roughage can also do it.

Majorly increased nightshades won't help matters either.

Drink a gallon of water a day.

Tell her to monitor her vegetables too, all may not agree with her.

My body is happy with more meat, fat and starchy veggies (and I poop just fine)....things like broccoli tear me up on the inside.
