It sounds delicious and awesome. Where do I find more information about this Festival of Strength and Meat?

The more abuse I take, the harder the workouts get. This keeps up, there will be a javelin dodging event. Flaming Javelin.

I'm guessing there is not yet a solid date for '10?

Not yet, Chris. I believe the word right now is somewhere from mid June to early July, though.

Do I bring my own Guinness or will the keg already be there?

I'm not sure what to tell you, Jay and I are still in the planning stages. Last year Jay and I didn't provide beer (but plenty of food) and other participants did bring beer. I would plan on bringing your own.

Jamie e-mail me at jay.ashman at gmail.com for info about this, I am hoping that my wife and I can come to this but that depends on a myriad of factors...

Jay,

As soon as I have a date, I will let you know. It's at Jay's house, so the date is up to him mostly and he is rather busy.

It's in Sharpsville pa, I think it's about 9 hours for you.

I learned a lot about soft tissue work this year, so I'll try to fix any of you that are broken.

Don't break yourself on purpose though. :)
