and all of a sudden Crossfit is the Evil Empire and someone at CFHQ is Darth Vader? Seriously?

http://board.crossfit.com/showpost.php?p=782788&postcount=21

Keep in mind, I like Darrell, but I found this funny.

So that means Shave is Vader, more like Anakin in the prequels and the Emperor must be Glassman.

So who is Luke and who is Han Solo? Does that mean Robb is Luke and Greg is Han Solo?

I thought this was too funny. :D

I'd post a reply but all my posts still have to be moderator approved which I find means they don't approve them.

I have not been to the mainpage nor the forum in months. Thanks for posting the link....it caused me to look around the forum and just reading the posts about the Masters Comp and the CF Kids Affiliation Bulls*** reminded me why I don't visit the CF Forum anymore. Thanks for the reminder! :D

Bingo = Master of Evil Empire Propaganda department. He blows so hard in those "Sunday musings" that someone might think he actually knows how to use the Force...

I am not one of the Ewoks though I'm often called the hobbit.

I haven't read one of those Sunday musings of his, I just remember him mostly for his CFSB work.

There were a lot of diehard koolaid sippers in that thread. I didn't want to bother.

I vote Steven Low for Yoda.

Dan John is Yoda.

For as much as Bingo makes me want to choke him with his long-windedness, he is a good guy and has a good heart at least.

He's a solid family man, loves his wife and kids and runs a successful business and does what he can to stay in shape.

the fact that he does condone a strength-bias workout makes him aok in my book, even if he has a long way to go to get strong... but none of us started out deadlifting 500+ pounds. :D

his only fault is that he is a CF homer and follows them without question, he's a smart man and I wonder what it will take for him to realize that CF isn't infallible.

Yeah, except strength bias workout does not have enough strength work...

ah the search for the one with the highest meti-chlorian count begins... The sith lords searching for the one with the 750lbs DL and the construction of a large Cultfilt clone army which has been going on since 2003. The plight of the Rebellion begins.

The family guy version is much better:

Red 3: Red 3 standing by.
Red 6: Red 6 standing by.
Luke Skywalker (Chris): Red 5 standing by
Red Buttons: Red Buttons standing by.
Redd Foxx: Redd Foxx standing by.
Big Red: Big Red standing by.
[camera zooms out to show a Russian submarine floating with the squad of X-Wings]
Red October: [in Sean Connery's voice] Red October standing by.
Helen Reddy: Helen Reddy standing by.
Simply Red (Mick Hucknall): [Entire band is in one X-Wing cockpit] Simply Red standing by.

I have to say that I smoked a bowl and watching this episode, yes I admit it... shoot me, and I laughed so hard I almost threw up. Never again will I smoke a bowl and watch any sort of Family Guy.

I like Seth McFarlane. I like Stewey&Brian, I just can't stand virtually the rest and it's over the top. I'm not very fond of American Dad either but the man is a talent on the radio.

Yea, I could see that. I find that it gets old pretty quick now. Although there are a few occasional episodes that are 100% priceless.

Some people like the manic humor. Case in point, Dumb in Philadelphia, or something like that.

I'm all for good dumb humor but maniacs don't do much for me...which getting back to the topic...
