Ran across this clip by John Berardi:

The up shot was:

Fish oil: 6-10g
Circumin: 500mg
HMB: 3g
Glutamine: 14g
Arganine: 14g

I was unfamiliar with HMB and circumin. Circumin looks like an extract from turmeric (or is it just a component of turmeric?). On HMB:

14g x 2 of Glu and Arg seem expensive to me.

My wife just recently started using Biotest's circumin for a pretty gnarly ankle injury and swears by it. I've tried a pill or 2 and it appears to help... but I can't say for certain personally. I tried HMB years ago - I had a coach that swore by it for strength/muscle gain, but it was extremely expensive (not sure if it still is) and never really worked on a performance level for me... never noticed anything (or thought about it) from an injury management perspective though - let me know if it works for you.

I mean all of the components listed have in one form or another been somewhat effective or effective in studies.

It's basically just a combination of anti-inflammatory and muscle retaining amino acids/stuff.

Butryric acid in particular is a pretty interesting substance if you want to research it further.
