I just got one of those ultradome mushrooms and wanted to train to do circles but I can't even get one yet. I was wondering if there was any sort of detailed guide for progression for it since the circle appears to be the elementary move for the pommel but then again I am new to gymnastics.
I am completely new to gymnastics ultimately would like be able to flare from the ground and eventually move into rings but if I can't even do a basic circle than I am not sure if I am too weak or just need lots practice to get the most basic of moves.
but I did do starting strength and those are my numbers:
stats:
5' 6"
~160 lbs
squat ~ 290
bench ~ 190
deadlift ~ 335
press ~ 138
I am not sure if I should focus on increasing strength because I am too weak or just keep trying on my own till I get it.
