Study indicats that the ability to digest the milk sugar probably resulted from the advent of dairy farming.

I call it evolutionary progress.....probably caused the decline of the Roman Empire: those Gaullic barbarians were big, bad bruisers nourished on wild cow milk, fighting a bunch of wine-fed Romans.
