I like them. Very comfortable. The heel is just a bit higher than my adistars, but that works for me because I'm about as flexible as a dried out piece of balsa wood.

The heel is .75" on Nike, Chad, and the Adidas are 1.25," the insole is just higher in the Nikes.
I love my Nikes myself, I feel they offer the most stability of any shoe but the insole height makes me feel a little too tall and I feel they would be perfect if they were slightly higher in heel height.

I've wanted a pair of Romaleos since they came out but getting them in Australia has proved virtually impossible.
Does anyone know of a place that stocks them? As best as I can determine Nike made a bunch before the olympics and then discontinued them and all thats left is a few pairs in size 4 and size 17

Hmmm, well that would make sense too. They just "feel" steeper, but I actually seem to squat better in the Nikes.

I'm sorry to bring back up an old thread, but I have just gotten my hands on a set of the Romaleos. I feel pretty comfortable in saying that there is not a half inch difference between the heel height of them and the Adistar shoes. It is tough to quite get the measurement on the Nike, but they claim an effective 3/4 inch. The Adistar have just about the same when you do the heel minus fore foot thickness.
