Been toying with IF for the past three months... I notice improvements in sleep (always been a problem). Body fat still around 8-9%, as usual. Anecdotal.. I know.
Thinking outloud.... I have some crazy Star-Trek science at my disposal at work. I am strongly considering doing a whole-genome gene expression study on myself. Impact of IF on this and that.
Problem... I don't have the guts to take a biopsy punch from the various tissues of my body.
Any volunteers? I just need 50-100mg of tissue from your liver, skeletal muscle (thigh or ass will do), fat, kidney.. and perhaps a piece of your left ventricle.
Volunteers will be compensated by a pat on the back, handshake and free sample pack of Viagra (I know a guy in sales).

sorry if this is a thread hijack.
I'm currently building a laboratory for the Buck Institute for Age Research in Novato, CA. Their site (www.buckinstitute.org) has a bunch of interesting info relating to their research. I guess they were one of the first institutes in CA to jump in on stem cell research. They've got a links page with some interesting articles relating to diet and excercise, etc, it's a bit disconcerning that there are a lot of links that relate to subjects that we here already know are malarky.

Brad, if you had offered a pat on the ass, I was in.

:)
On a serious note, anyone try the recipes in this month's journal... very tasty. Most excellent! They make the replenishment meal, after a fast, a much anticipated event.
