I just wanted to share that today I PR'd deadlift at 445lbs, previous PR was about 3months ago at 435lbs, previous to that 415lbs.
I have only deadlifted a few times in the last 5months, instead I focused soley on heavy snatches, Front Squats, clean and jerks and some GPP work with 45lbs KBs. I took my clean and jerk from 245lbs to about 270lbs and my snatch from 200 to 220lbs.
I just wanted to share this because many people believe that the deadlift and clean are a fixed %. That may or may not be true, I do not know. But, if it is true, then I bet it is a 2-way street. Increase either your deadlift or clean and the other will go up.
