Supplements post hip impingement repair

My boyfriend was operated on for FAI last week. Aside from maintaining a good diet, would anyone recommend any specific supplements? Here's the list I have so far:

- Fish oil
- ZMA
- Vitamin D

He's been wondering about the efficacy of Vitamin C for this as well.
