View Full Version : Cranks Vs. Front Lever Pulls

I am wondering if either the crank, more like 1/2 crank, or the front lever pull ( in adv. tuck) is more efficient method for developing full front lever strength. I can do my adv. tuck FL pulls in a 5x2, and 1/2 cranks in 5x1. For the 1/2 crank I can pull up to a FL for about a second. Should I use one over the other? Or just rotate them out on straight arm pulling days?

They're both fine.
I'd probably rotate them if you like variety

I dont like variety for the sake of variety, but more so variety in the sense that they're both great movements for strength. As my strength further develops with gymnastic elements this stuff becomes a lot of fun to train.
