I'm hosting an olympic weightlifting competition this fall with the help of some experienced coaches. I'm shy a women's competition bar, but a friend has offered to loan us a York Elite 15kg bar.
Searching comes up with:
http://www.yorkstrength.com/product.asp?prodId=18&name=York+Elite+Competition+Bar
Where it says "These specifications are that of the International Weightlifting Federation".
Obviously, the link I found is for the men's bar, but is there any way to find out if this bar is legitimate for competition use? I don't see the normal IWF sticker on it, but I suppose that isn't to say it was removed at any point, or wore off depending on placement.
