anyone have a favorite singlet style/company? I'm looking to buy my first. I checked out these:

But they don't have my size (xxl).

Anyone got any recommendations? I'm pretty short and stocky (5'8", 125k), and frankly avoid spandex at pretty much all cost.

I was lucky and got my singlet off of ebay. That might be a good place to check for a cheap singlet and I managed to get good adidas one for fairly cheap.

This might be a dumb question, but is there much difference between a weightlifting singlet and a wrestling singlet?

There isn't much difference usually between a wrestling singlet and a weightlifting singlet unless you get certain ones. The singlet I have covers my upper arms and probably goes a little lower on my leg than most singlets. The upper chest and shoulders have a grippy kind of material instead of spandex. Wrestling singlets are usually lower cut and won't cover the shoulders and upper chest, however you can wear a T-Shirt under it to provide some coverage for cleans if you choose a lower cut singlet.

Steve, where did you get that singlet? Is it similar to the ones the Belarus lifters all wear? I think they are Adidas but they are a nightmare to try and track down, I think they might have been discontinued.

FYI, this is the singlet I got...

The singlet looks great...the fat, hairy guy in the singlet...well that's a work in progress.

Spencer -

I grabbed it off of ebay a while back. I really like it, it looks like this one here: http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/9479/dobrevoy6.jpg

Thanks Steve, that's a good one. The ones with sleeves seem like gold dust at the moment.
