When counting carbs, I'm under the impression that you would have to subtract fiber grams from total carb grams, since you don't derive any energy from fiber, seeing how it's indigestible. Am I wrong? For instance, 1 avocado contains:

17.1g Total Carbs
13.5g Dietary Fiber
1.3g Sugar

So does this mean that I would only count the 3.6g of non-fiber carbs when blocking avocado?

Yes do not count it when talking about it for diet reasons...as fiber is not digested and used as a macronutrient.

By my scientific calculations, you would have to re-ingest the avocado 6.3 times to digest the fiber.

Eat, poop, eat, poop.. etc.

Sobriety.. it is affecting my sense of humor obviously.
