Here's my power clean with 145#. I often seem to scrape up my thumb closer to the wrist. It seems like to me the bar is coming too high or I'm not turning over quickly enough.

The bar gets way out in front of your face and above your nose.

I did hang cleans as a way of teaching myself to pull under properly and I went along to hit a 40lb pr. Thanks!
