Hello, can anyone give me some insight on why I keep losing this snatches when the weight gets up to 120lbs + (fast forward video to 0:30) ? I'm not sure but I think its because the bar loops out too much so as you might see I started doing some muscle snatches!

Also can I get a critique of the cleans from 4:17 and beyond? When the weight gets heavy i keep losing it forward but I'm not sure why! I feel like I have the power to put up larger weights but my technique just sucks. I've repeatedly tried to do the California strength "jump and catch" method of learning but there's something wrong with the way I jump because I always kick my feet up.

Any thoughts appreciated (I am self coached)

I see that we got som likenesses regarding our techinques and our self-coaching. I've recently checked out this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tb2CN6mEZkM and it helped me much to see the errors I've done so far. Now its just to train for better technique! I see that you are doing the mistake of letting the bar get away from your body. See especially tip 2 in the video. Se also that you are jumping a little backwards when doing the lifts. That too, is something you should correct. See perfect techniques here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVTYRjSDyC4 - snatch, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YJ_L7jqgoA - clean and jerk.
