Anyone know of an encyclopedia or dictionary with terms and definitions pertaining to fitness? ie, metabolic, interval, lactic acid...and so forth?

I can't hink of a single resource that would cover it all because a number of those terms are used differently by various parts of the fitness industry.

Any of the major textbooks on training should have a good glossary in them though.

I saw one the other day in a bookshop. It was quite small and not that great. A kettlebell for instance was defined as being a handle attached to a non fixed weight. It made it sound like a morning star.

I'll look out for it again and get the title.

That it is the next big thing: morning star training... you could ask Stan Pike if he is willing to build some morning star prototypes. This could be hot, really hot...

Just think of what you could do to one of those losers using a clubbell...
