Hey All, First Time Poster Long Time Reader. I Am Posting This Log In Hopes That It Will Help Cut Out All The Grazing That I Do During The Day And Make Me Responsible For What I Eat. I Also Hope That It Will Give Me A Little Motivation To Keep Eating Clean( That's Been Tough Lately). A Little Background On Me, I Am 21 Years Old About 6' 2" And Weigh Between 193 To 197. I Have About 10% Bodyfat And Would Love To Cut It Down To Around 6 Or 7. I Am A Dedicated Crossfitter And Have Been Throwing In Some Extra Running And Power/ Oly Liffting. I Have Been Following A Modified Zone Diet. The Modification Being Taht I Stay As Paleo As Possible And Have Cut Out Some Carbs And Replaced With Fat. I Would Love To Get Some Feedback On What My Diet Looks Like From Anyone Out Their.
Wednesday July 30th Breakfast: 10:20am 1/2 Cup Oatmeal With Cinnamon, Nutmeg And 2 Packets Sweet&low 1 Whole Egg And 7 Egg Whites 1 Slice Natural Swiss Cheese 1 Peach 4 Tablespoons Natural Peanutbutter Snack: 2:15pm 1.5 Oz Chicken Breast 6 Almonds 1cup Brocoli Slaw Lunch: 4:40pm 5oz Chicken Breast 19 Almonds 1.5 Cups Cooked Brocoli 1.5 Cups Cooked Cauliflower 1 Apple 1 Handfull Fruit Loops Snack: 7:40 Pm 2oz Chicken Breast 1 Handfull Fruit Loops Snack: 10:00pm 2oz Chicken Breast 6 Cashews 1 Tablespoon Peanutbutter 1 Peach Snack: 12:05am 1.5 Oz Chicken Breast 1 Tablespoon Peanutbutter 3 Almonds 1:00-1:30 Bedtime!! OVER THE COURSE OF THE DAY I DRANK 1 GALLON OF WATER AND 2 CUPS COFFEE THIS MORNIG AND 1 DIET PEPSI MAX AT 8:30PM(ROUGH NIGHT AT WORK). |

10:00am Breakfast. 1 Apple 1 Cup Brocoli Slaw 2 Whole Eggs And 6 Egg Whites 3 1/2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter 12:00pm Wod 1:30pm Lunch 3 1/2 Oz Chicken Breast 17 Cashews 1 1/2 Cup Brocoli 1 1/2 Cup Cauliflower 1 Spoonfull Of Peanut Butter 5:15pm Dinner 5.30 Oz Round Steak 21 Cashews 1 3/4 Cup Brocoli 1 3/4 Cup Cauliflower 1 Apple 1/2 Teaspoon Peanut Butter 1 Small Handfull Of Fruit Loops 9:45pm Or 10:00pm Snack 2 Oz Chicken Breast 10 Grapes 8 Almonds 12:00am Snack 1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese 1:00 Bedtime Over The Course Of The Day I Drank 1 Gallon Of Water, 4cups Of Green Tea,2 Cups Of Coffee And 2 16oz Bottles Of Crystal Light At Work. I Know I Need To Cut Out The Fruit Loops!! I Only Eat Them When I Am At Work Though. Other Than That Does Anyone Think That I Am Eating To Much Fat? Or Too Many Carbs? |

Breakfast 10:00am 1 Whole Egg+7 Egg Whites 1 Slice Swiss Cheese 1 Apple 3 1/2 Teaspoons Cashew Butter Wod 12:00pm Lunch 1:30pm 2.8 Oz Chicken Breast 12 Steamed Brussel Sprouts 1/2 An Avacado 1 Teaspoon Peanut Butter Dinner 4:45pm 5 Ounces Chicken Breast+1 Ounce Ham 1 1/2 Cups Brocoli 1 1/2 Cups Cauliflower 36 Cashews 1 Handfull Of Fruit Loops Snack 9:30 Or 10:00pm 2.2 Ounces Chicken Breast 9 Red Grapes 9 Cashews Over The Course Of The Day I Drank~1 Gallon Of Water, 3 Cups Coffee And 3, 16 Oz Bottles Of Crystal Light. Last Night I Got Off Work At Midnight And Was Going To Eat The 1/2 Cup Of Cottage Cheese But I Was Not Hungray So I Did Not Force It Down. Would Love Some Feedback From The More Knowladgeable Folks Out Their On What They Think Of My Diet. |
August 2nd, Saturday.
Breakfast 9:15am 2whole Eggs+6 Egg Whites 3 1/2 Teaspoons Cashew Butter 1 Teaspoon Peanut Butter 3 Cups Brocoli & Cauliflower Mix Wod 12:00pm Lunch 1:30pm 4.4 Ounces Of Chicken Breast 2 1/4 Cup Brocoli & Cauliflower Mix 1/2 An Haas Avacado 1 Peach Dinner 4:45pm 4.3 Ounces Of Chicken Breast 33 Casshews 4 Cups Of Brocoli & Cauliflower Mix Snack 10:00pm 2.2 Ounces Of Round Steak 9 Cashews 1/2 An Orange Snack12:00am 1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese 1 Teaspoon Cashew Butter Over The Course Of The Day I Drank 3/4 A Gallon Of Water, 2 Cups Of Coffee With Cinnamon And Half A Packet Of Sweet And Low, And 2 16 Oz Crystal Light's. This Is My Fourth Day Of Changing My Diet To A High Fat Low Carb Breakdown. I Have Noticed That I Feel Fuller After Meals And That I Dont "graze" Near As Much. The Only Downside Is That I Think That It Is Affecting My Met-con Wods. I Feel Good For The First 3-5 Min. And Then I Just Hit A Wall. Any Advice On What To Change? Or Is That Just My Body Getting Used To The Higher Fat And Lower Carb? |

breakfast 9:45am 2 whole eggs+6 egg whites 4 cups brocoli and cauliflower mix 4 teaspoons cashew butter 2 teaspoons unsweetened organic kethchup WOD 11:45 Lunch 1:30pm 4.3 ounces chicken breast 3 cups cauliflower 1/2 hass avacado 2 teaspoons peanut butter 8 almonds Dinner 4:45pm 5.5 ounces round steak 3 cups brocoli, cauliflower, onions, carrots, mushrooms and sugar snap peas 36 cashews 1 handfull of fruit loops snack 9:45 or 10:00pm 2.2 oz chicken breast 15 almonds 2 cherry tomatoes snack 12:00am 1/2 cup cottage cheese 2 teaspoons peanut butter Over the course of the day i drank 3/4 gallon of water two cups coffee with cinn. and sweet and low, and 3 bottles of crystal light( the only non carbonated drink with caffine that i have acsess to while at work, other than old coffee!). |

Breakfast 9:30am 2 whole eggs+6 egg whites 4 cups of brocoli cauliflower mix 4 teaspoons cashew butter WOD12:00 Lunch 1:40pm 5ounces chicken breast 4 cups brocoli cauliflower mix 1/2 an avacado 8 cashews 2 teaspoons peanut butter WOD #2 6:00pm Dinner #1 7:20pm 7.3 ounces sirloin steak 3 1/2 cups brocoli cauliflower mix 1/4 apple 9 almonds 21 cashews 1 1/2 teaspoons peanutbutter snack#1 10:30pm 1 ounce chicken breast 1 1/2 teaspoons peanut butter Go too work 11:30pm Dinner#2 2:00am 5 ounces chicken breast 36 cashews 3 cups cauliflower 1/2 of a chocolate chip cookie 1 teaspoon peanutbutter 2 ounces baked pork chop Breakfast#2 9:00-10:00am 4whole eggs 2teaspoons peanutbutter 1 peach Lunch#2 1:30-2:00pm 5 ounces chicken breast 3 1/2 cups brocoli and cauliflower mix 25 almonds WOD#3 6:00pm Dinner #3 7:30pm 4.5 ounces chicken breast 3 1/2 cups brocoli 1/4 apple 27 almonds 1 1/2 teaspoons peanut butter SLEEP 10:00pm this was an extremely odd day due too work. for one thing it was way to long!! tried to stay good with the food but as you can tell I had one little break down at 2am with some choc. chip cookies. I think the rest of the day went pretty well? Over the course of the day i drank about 2 1/4 gallons of water, 2 cups coffee, 2 crystal light bottles, 1 diet mt. dew at 4:30am, and 2 turbo tea's. I know it is alot of caffine, but that was the only way that i could stay awake. |
tuesday august 5th part 2
once i got off work i completly lost it!! came home had a good meal of 2whole eggs plus 4 egg whites, 2 teaspoons peanutbutter, and 2 cups brocoli at about 9am. then sat around till 10:30, went to the doctor and found out i have an umbilical hernia:( then i came home and layed around trying to fall asleep. layed around from12 till about 5(only slept for maybe a total of 2 hours off and on). then this is were i lost it!! got up and had 3 whole eggs 4 egg whites, 1 slice swiss cheese, 1 ounce chedar cheese, 2 ounces chicken breast, 15 almonds and1 whole hass avacado( purposly kept carbs out and fat high, was planing on going back too sleep). then after i got done washing dishes i had a couple spoonfulls of ice cream, that lead to a bowl of honey nut cheerios which lead to abount half a jar of cashew butter. i thought i was done but came back for more( no will power) i had 2 cashew butter and jelly(real fruit jelly) sandwiches( thats more bread than i have eatin in the last 3 weeks put togather, huge gut ache!!) then i had a kashi gronolla bar as i talked on the phone which was followed by about 1 1/2 cups of ice cream whith wheat thins crushed up in it!! then i was done eating!! about a half hour after that i started drinking!! i had one beer, and am on my fourth glass of wine(red wine:) i think i am going to fast tomorrow till about noon or so. I dont think i will be able to eat till then anyway!! |
thursday august 6th
WOD 11:30am Breakfast 1:15pm 2 whole eggs and 6 whites 4 teaspoons cashew butter 3 1/2 cups brocoli cauliflower mix 1/4 of a huge apple Dinner 5:00pm 5 ounces chicken breast 3 cups brocoli 36 cashews 1 handfull fruitloops snack 10:00pm 2 1/2 oz chicken breast 13 cashews the reason that i ate so little today is that i am still recovering from last night's beinge. and i have just not been that hungry. as usual drank about a gallon of water, 3 crystal lights, 1 cup of coffee and half a diet mountain dew. |

Friday August 8th
didnt get to eat my snack at 10 last night so when i got home i ate a little extra and then fasted till 12:30 today(about a 12 hour fast).
