I came across this blog today, initial impression is good. The guy is an MD.

My lady and I have been playing more that way. The most interesting effect so far is that after 12 years of severe lactose intollerance, she can drink milk, cream, eat cheese etc. after 4 months strict no grains. Something the Dr. Harris said he figured would be the case. Certainly never heard of that anywhere else.
